Volunteer Training in Malibu: Sept 30th

There are more people in slavery today than at the peak of the trans-Atlantic slave trade in the 1800s. Everyday countless women in the United States are forced to sexual serve men against their will However, despite the profuseness of the atrocity, little is being done to find and save these women. You can make that change.

Project Exodus will be hosting a free anti-human trafficking volunteer training session for our Pepperdine team on Thursday, Sept 30th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Malibu Presbyterian Church in Malibu, CA. (3324 Malibu Canyon Rd., Malibu, CA 90265)

The two hour long training will introduce the issue of human trafficking in the world and United States as well as the skills necessary to participate in Project Exodus anti-human trafficking investigations. The training is required for anyone who wants to become a Project Exodus volunteer and will be to recruit people for our San Fernando Valley Team.

If you have a heart for justice and want to get involved on the front lines of fighting against slavery, then you need to come to this training! Answer the call of freedom and join us today! For questions, please email us at freedom@project-exodus.org.

Concert for Justice on April 6th!!!

LET FREEDOM RING!

On April 6th, Project Exodus is rocking it again with its second CONCERT FOR JUSTICE at the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica. The night of music is bringing together amazing up and coming indie and rock artists Brandon Jove, Kris Karlson, Malea McGuinness, and Paris Carney to raise awareness and funds to fight HUMAN TRAFFICKING right here in the United States.

Human trafficking is the second largest illegal trade in the world, bringing in $32 BILLION annually. Despite what most people believe, it does not just happen overseas but RIGHT HERE in our own backyards.

Proceeds from the night will go to support the investigations and educational work of PROJECT EXODUS, an rising Christian anti-trafficking nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles which seeks to find and rescue victims of human trafficking in the United States by finding trafficking locations and working with police to shut them down (http://www.project-exodus.org).

The last Concert for Justice was a huge success and we want to make this one even bigger! With new bands and more energy, the night will send a message to Los Angeles that we will not stand for slavery!

WALK FOR Freedom: JANUARY 16th!

Human trafficking is one of the greatest human rights violations of our time and it is happening right here in Los Angeles!

This year, join Project Exodus as we recognize Human Trafficking Awareness Day with an amazing anti-trafficking outreach and prayer walk in MacArthur Park in Downtown Los Angeles!

Project Exodus will be leading teams of volunteers in an effort to raise awareness about human trafficking and receive tips of possible trafficking locations right here in Los Angeles.

The day will start with a brief orientation at 11am and then volunteers will hit the streets and interact with one of the most vulnerable communities in Los Angeles, handing out information about trafficking, praying over the community, and seeking tips about possible trafficking taking place.

This is an amazing opportunity to not only let people know ways that they can report trafficking but also find trafficking right where it is happening!

The event is open to people 18+ and should last two hours so let us know if you are coming! We want to make this event HUGE so please invite your friends. If you want a pdf of the event flyer, just click on the image above or right here: Walk for Freedom Flyer
